That is like the best built amp I've ever seen.

Nice stuff !

Nice META! Are your power wires from the DC Jack twisted with the audio input wires? Might want to keep those separate.

Also, you can get a black paint pen at a crafts store and paint over the heads of the screws on the headphone jack and it'll look a bit nicer.

Great work though!

looks great!

what size is that case? i like the case design. someone else used one but it was pretty large. yours looks more along the lines i would want.

very professional looking with the all black motif.

i could only hope mine looks half as well done. (circuitry, etc)

4.72"x3.07"x1.69" (LxWxH)
The chassis is a perfect match for the Meta42 board. It's width is just wide enough to let the Meta42 board slide right in to the grooves. The only thing I dislike about the enclosure is that the pot and jack have to be mounted offboard because the Neutrik jack is too long and interfers with C2-.

Was it difficult working with the aluminum case?

Fantastic looking amp, nice work.

I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be asking this
confused.gif
, but what was your total parts cost?

It's not that hard if you have a dremel and the right bits. Initially, I had a difficult time centering the 2 RCA jacks. The Left input jack as you might see, is too close to the on/off switch and a tiny bit higher than the right jack. But after that it wasn't that difficult to do the rest.

I kind of lost count after $200

. Shipping is what really raised the price a lot especially if you forget to order some parts (like I did

).
