Sharp MD33S mod & Sony sleeve resize

I found that although outrageous ($5 each sleeve! from audiocubes), one can possibly benefit from a very small difference in outside dimension and positioning of the Sony EX51 sleeve on the Sharp MD33s. My right ear works great with the stock med Sharp sleeve, but the left is somewhere between med and large. This Sony medium EX51 sleeve (upper one in the picture) comes out a tiny bit farther and leaves a longer flexible tube that works better on my left ear. (Sure Ec2 solid sleeves will fit and give another option, although the Shure foam are very very tight on the tube and really too difficult then to replace.)

On the bottom you will see my ear cover mod as described in DigDub 's thread. A single layer of ear cover foam is stretched over the tube before replacing the sleeve. (Attenuates a tiny amount of overbright high end.)
