Has anyone tested this dongle with their Nintendo Switch and can report whether or not the sound is clean in UAC1.0 mode? I have the Xduoo Link2 Bal which is supposed to be compatible with the Switch, but in addition to the games' sound there is hiss, distortion and, at very low volumes, crackling. This happens in both docked and handheld modes on V2 and Lite, so it's not my USB ports. I also get these audio artifacts out of my tablet with some apps, but not others.

We tested it with Switch and are not aware of any issues in sound.

I purchased one. Can’t wait. Will any usb to lighting cable work? I got the OEOTG but I also want to get something on Amazon because of the can’t wait part
You need special cable that's designed for use with USB DACs, basic lighting to USB-C cable will not work.I purchased one. Can’t wait. Will any usb to lighting cable work? I got the OEOTG but I also want to get something on Amazon because of the can’t wait part

I will say we didn't tested these cables, so we can't guarantee the compatibility. It sometimes also can change depending on new iOS update.

If not I will have to get rid of iOS for music playback and look for a cheap android phone or something

FiiO makes excellent cables that work with many DACs. Sometimes you need a proprietary cable like the RU6 requires.

“* iOS support demands special Lightning to USB DAC cable, available from range of sellers on the market.”
The dongle dilemma has never been an easy one. I’ll report back on how the two cables I purchased end up working out, in a few days

Hello, can you please clarify how the volume control behave in the USB DAC mode? Is it possible on Apple device (Macbook Pro with Mac OS) to use the system volume control? Or is the volume "hardcoded" to use the mechanical wheel on device only? Thank you! There is no dedicated line-out circuit on UA5.
We might add "Line*-out mode" with fixed volume at later date, as other manufacturers did.
Mine was working when I first got it. Then all the sudden it stopped working and I just gave up.I have lightning to usb-c cables from FiiO, Hiby and Lotoo that all work fine...

Software volume control is normally completely independent from DAC volume setting. But we unfortunately do not have any Macbook to confirm this.

Some lightning to USB-C cables were rendered incompatible with recent iOS update. We can only recommend to contact the cable manufacturer about this.

Hello, Currently I need to click 3X to turn on charging in UA5. After charged, I need to click 7-8X to OFF. It is annoying to do this every single day. Could you make it simpler? Just click 2X at certain speed, it will toggle ON/OFF charging. Thanks. I also need another digital filter to reduce a bit hi-treble cymbal, without adding bass.
UA5 + Sony XBA-N3 (with moondrop spring tips) ROCKS! Balanced V-shape sound

We got similar feedback on the charging switch and reported it for possible adjustment to the software team.
