I'm currently running a 640C cd player into an NAD C355 integrated amp, then using the tape out to a PH300 head amp.
Would it be smarter to switch the PH300 to the pre-in on the C355 thus making the connection between source and head amp a lot shorter? I guess then the added benefit is that for speaker listening the PH300 would then act as a pre-amp....not sure whether the quality of this as a pre-amp is better than the NAD circuit....
