2 way LDAC will be well received by many.

+1 on LDAC support, and the 'fully balanced' spec looks intriguing... can't wait for pricing! Going by the Shanling M0, hopefully it will undercut offerings by other manufacturers in the 500usd category.

Now - I think this was worth the wait so far. I have a feeling my next dap will be a shanling.

I'm guessing around $399 or so, give or take...

good question, would have also expected 4.4mm as 2.5 mm is a nearly dead standard. Anyhow, still very promising. Was about to get a M3s from last production run but putting that on hold now... hopefully output impedance is way below 1 Ohm.
It's far from dead IMO

@Shanling Little birdie told me M7 is due soon, is it a rumour?

There are always some crazy plans for far future, but it's definitely not happening anytime soon.

Will it put digital music out. For external dac options

It will have digital USB out.

Curious, why not using 4.4mm?

Market is now somewhere in the middle. It's nice some new manufacturers picked 4.4 and it's not longer just Sony, but 2.5 is still viable standard, that is in hands of significantly more people. Also it's much easier to adapt from 2.5 to 4.4 than other way.

And output impedance lower than 0.3, for both single and balanced.

Thanks @Shanling this is indeed good news. Does it have Hiby link as well? I guess this is the dap I have been waiting for.

Am really excited now about it actually.
