Hello Shanling
How to replace the battery to new one? is there any way to do diy?
Thx
If you know how to replace battery on modern smartphone, it would be easy on M3X. Just need to remove rear panel, battery is glued to it.

Replacement battery could be purchased through your local Shanling distributor.

can you give us an order online alternative?

We do not sell the replacement batteries online, due to shipping restrictions.

Since they disabled our option to choose a launcher of our liking, I have found a workaround for setting your launcher to default. Since I do not use the Shanling music player and basically it doubles as a replacement launcher, I removed it via adb command. I also removed the stock android launcher so that the only launcher that will load on startup is Nova Launcher. To remove the stock android launcher - pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.launcher3
for removing the shanling music app - pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.shanling.MusicApp
removing those won't affect any other feature or functionality of the player. but you will need a pc to do this

You should be able to use the "Boot Apps" app to start the alternate launcher at boot without disabling anything. You may still have to set as default though?

Nope, that app would just add a background process, unlike removing the stock launcher and the shanling app that I just consider as bloat since I really don't have use of them. The shanling music player is existing for a long time now and they can't even add gapless playback, for me to consider using it, so I just removed it. And whatever background processes that they may be doing will be gone with them hehehe

Yeah, it was just another possible solution for those that use the Shanling app. I like your approach better...

I wish that @Shanling would make this easier for those of us who aren't comfortable with messing with anything that looks like this "uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.launcher3" :) , by allowing us to just launch directly into UAPP or the program of our choice. It seems fair enough being that the Shanling app itself is unusable. That's OK by me, but then why not allow us to use Prime Mode with another app?

How can you make adb detect the M3X? What's the driver you use for it?

just install the 15 second adb installer, i don't know if i can post external links here but it is easily searchable. once you have installed it, plug in your m3x via the usb port, run an administrator command prompt, type "adb devices" then type "adb shell" then just type the command I posted. By the way you need to enable developer mode on the m3x. These commads are very safe and once you factory reset the m3x, everything will be back including the apps that we removed
