The only place in Vancouver that sells Shanling is Headphone Bar. It's on Main Street around 29th Avenue. However I don't think they have M3S's right now, only M1 and M2S. He might have some on order though, you can always check.

Or you can buy from Musicteck and have them ship to you. Shipping to Vancouver is a bit expensive but you could ship to Point Roberts or Blaine drive down to pick it up.

Oh great, thank you for this information. I will see directly in Headphone Bar if they have it, or maybe I could be able to pre-order it.

I'm in Canada. No Canadian reseller currently stocks the M3s. I purchased mine from Penon Audio in Hong Kong. 4 day delivery- free shipping. Highly recommended!

I contacted Headphone Bar and he does not plan on stocking it.

BTW, Musicteck charges $65 Cdn just for shipping to Canada. Customs fees are in addition to that.

Seems like Penon Audio is the way to go. Wish I had known about them before buying from Musicteck.

Ok, I will also consider the possibility to buy it directly from China if I can't found it in Canada.

Send me a PM, I might be willing to sell mine to you. Tried to message you but your settings don't allow it.

Well, on M3s the frame is aluminium, front and back panel is glass.

We have Canadian distributor, but they were not very active lately, aka didn't order M3s yet. We will reach out to them and see how it goes.

M2s and M3s wheel mechanism is different from M3.

To give everybody more details regarding wheel falling off:

Wheel is hold inside player by plastic parts, no glue, not relying just on friction. Onto wheel we attach plastic ring, that holds on to it by two tiny plastic legs. This plastic ring is then attached to the body of player by three plastic legs.

Here I took one photo to show you in detail.

Here is photo of wheel I just took of from my M2s.

So if your wheel fall off from the player, it could be caused by accidentally somehow applying force in the one correct direction. Then you should be able to just pick a wheel, pop it back into place and be all good.

But because inside it's hexagonal shape, be careful when putting it in. If you feel any restrain, don't push. Turn it little until you can feel it fits back inside smoothly.

In some cases, maybe the ring got damaged and one of the tiny plastic legs got broken. In that situation, you can contact us and we will gladly send you one wheel to replace it on your unit. We will also send some spare wheels and plastic rings to our distributors, so they can provide it to you too.

If you have any more questions, just directly ask me. I spend today running around our technicians, getting all the detailed info on the wheel, its mechanism and the problems we are facing, so can provide you with any details you need.

Ah thanks I forgot about that part. Almost wish I waited, or a trade in program at musictech lol.

I feel like the SE out is as you described, however, the soundstage much smaller. The balanced out has a much (!) larger soundstage but tonality no longer sounds neutral. It has that extra energy you spoke of, but too much! I feel like I have to tone it down with EQ to match the SE tonality but keep the soundstage. Example EQ attached:

Thank you for this. I'm able to pop the button back into place. However the button doesn't "pop back out" after depressing it. I'm not even sure if it used to "pop back out" as I've been using the Hibylink feature to operate the dap. What is the mechanism that does this "pop back out" action? I'm hoping it's not done by some spring because if it is I lost it. Anyways Musicteck contacted me and I think they'll be sending me over a new set of the button wheel. Hoping it'll be good as new.

I just sent my player back to Musicteck for this same reason. I think the mechanism is broken on the inside, as like you said it no longer pops back out.
