To be clear, all Shanling DAPs have low output impedance except the M2 series. Correct @Shanling?

I just want to thoroughly dispel any lingering myths about all Shanling DAPs having high output impedance.

Hold up, this is interesting. I was just joking around with Shanling about this yesterday, saying wouldn't it be amazing if even 2.5mm port had LO functionality and here it is. This is shaping up to be a fully BEAST MODE DAP!!!

If my past experience is a reliable guide, then the answer is undoubtedly yes. As with any audio gear, the ultimate answer is that you should listen to both for yourself. If that's not possible, then you should find people who have similar tastes as you and follow their advice.

I've been looking at Shanling DAPs since the the original M2, but never pulled the trigger on one. I think this might be the first one I buy because it's checking all the boxes for me. Looking forward to hearing some impressions from users once it hit the market.

This is going to be another big hit from Shanling.
Imagine what they can create using their experience so far : 5 inch screen music player, big and thick but with massive battery inside, very powerful and very long battery life, and top DAC chips.
Maybe that will be M5s.
