    Today at Guangzhou High End show, we revealed our latest product, Shanling M30.

    This is still fairly early concept of our new modular design, that should provide standalone digital player, balanced DAC, balanced Amplifier, tube-based outputs, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless connectivity, all with clean battery power.

    Currently price and availability date are unknown.

    We are still also not exactly set on digital player modules, but we expect we will offer two variants, one running on open Android, other one with some simplified system. But both of these variants should offer range of streaming services.


    Specification:

    Digital Player module – 6-inch 1920 x 1080 Touch Screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 CPU

    DAC module – 2x AKM AK4497 DAC and 2x OPA1612 Amplifier

    Amplifier module – 2x OP42 and 2x BUF634A

    Battery module – 5x 18650 batteries

    Tube modules – Korg 6P1 tube

    Wireless module – DWHP83

    Size - 26 x 21 x 4.5 cm


    Outputs/Inputs

    Balanced Headphones outputs – 4-pin XLR / 4.4mm, 3.5mm, 2.5mm jacks

    Single Ended Headphones outputs – 6.3mm, 3.5mm jacks

    Analog outputs/inputs – RCA and balanced XLR output / RCA input

    Digital – Coaxial RCA / Optical / 2x USB-A / USB-B / Ethernet

    Wireless – 2.4G / 5G Wi-Fi and Bluetooth ( SBC, aptX, aptx HD, LDAC, HWA LHDC)

    Card slot - SD card (up to 1TB)

    Build-in memory - 32GB

    That's very interesting, and one advantage is one of the modules fails, you dont have to send all the device to repair.
    But it seem its gonna be expensive for me...

    This is intriguing for sure. Some of the design cues, like the position and sizing of the volume wheel, seem more appropriate for a portable than a desktop form factor.

    Interesting concept. I suggest allowing the touchscreen module to swivel up. Also, the memory should be a solid state memory module. I look forward to seeing this in the UK!

    With that many different modules, those connectors better be ultra reliable otherwise you will be SOL. But I am loving the concept.
