Hi @Shanling got mine last November of 2019. All of sudden, the volume wheel skips whenever I adjust it for some reason. I updated my firmware, however, its still skipping. Any workaround for this one? Is it a faulty unit?

By "skips", what exactly do you mean? When you move wheel it sometimes goes for 1 more?

Yep exactly, sometimes it jumps at least 3 or 5 skips, either up or down.

If it's showing such big jumps, it might be hardware issue in wheel mechanism. So either contact your seller for warranty or get replacement wheel mechanism.

does this model allow control from a mobile phone, connect via wifi or bluetooth bidirectional control?

You can stream audio files into M2X over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, but there is no app for just remote control of the M2X.

can anyone answer my newbie questions?
1. wasnt there spposed to be a phone app as it was promised over a year ago and Chinese version was supposed to be beta testing. Fiio have Fiio music, Hiby has Hiby music.

2, Also i just bought this device, and good quality but Blutooth seems a bit average audio quality (bass seems lacking) using aptx setting to a minirig..doesnt seem to be the case if i stream blutooth from my phone, any thoughts to change settings, gain etc to improve it.. seems fine via line out.

3. how do i access DNLA server.. i have turned on wifi, connected to my router, and switched DNLA on. .but where do i access it?

4 Connected my phone to stream blutooth at LDAC quality then output the audio via line out to a speaker, but the volume is set to max and cannot seem to adjust it.. how do i lower the volume as its almost blowing my speaker?
thanks in advance :)

1) We were forced to change developer of the app, still in works.

2) Other settings have no impact on Bluetooth sound quality. Your phone is also using aptX? Or some other codec?

3) M2X works only as DLNA Rendered, you need to use some app on your phone/computer as controller, to access files.

4) If you want to control volume, turn of the Line Out mode on M2X. You can also control volume on your phone.

1) Does M2X accept external playlists?
1a) If so, what formats? (m3u/m3u8/m3u EXT)

2) Can M2X read special characters in track names such as in "Gymnopédies", "凸】♀】♂】←巨人", or "고마워"?

3) Can M2X read lossy AAC files (.m4a file extension)?

1) Yes, it supports external playlists, m3u is recommended.

2) Korean works fine, and we are continuously adjsuting MTouch system for other special characters from other languages.

3) Yes, no problem.

Nevermind, I got it to connect by using a USB 2.0 port, USB 3.0 ports don't work. But now I have a new issue and that is that I cannot get MusicBee to sync with it. There is no folder structure in the micro sd card even though I already updated the firmware. How do I sync?

MTouch system doesn't have any pre-set folder structure. It reads anything you put on Micro SD card, no matter if it's 10 layers of folders or just all songs in root folder.

If you want to sync any software with the micro SD card, it needs to create its own structure.

@Shanling, Today I received M2x i bought. Fantastic piece of engineering. I have a question, what does the High gain do? I know it increases gain but of what? DAC chips gain or Opamps gain or something else? I'd love if you can answer..
