Shanling M2X Firmware V2.5 notes You can now update with OTA update or download from Google Drive or our website New functions: 1. Added ReplayGain function. Go to Playback menu to enable. 2. Added Playlist Import / Export function. Notes: - Works with .m3u playlist files. - Playlists will be exported into “_explaylist_data” folder in root folder of Micro SD card. - To import user created playlists, put .m3u file into “_explaylist_data” folder in root folder of Micro SD card and click “Import playlists” in Playlist menu. - We recommend to export one playlist from your M2X and follow its formatting for user created playlists. 3. Added quality settings into Tidal app. 4. Added new theme (Theme 2) 5. Album cover and lyrics can be downloaded from internet and added to currently played file. Note: Tap on now playing screen and tap on last icon on right (icon of CD). Changes and fixes: 1. Improved Equalizer performance, limiting distortion when using high level of adjustment. 2. Well, with only an “X” for a designation as opposed to a letter and a number, I’m expecting a weird new AIO device or the start of a new product type.
The tags at the top give some hint at what kind of device this is. Though that list would also apply to the M5s I believe.
Not quite, since the M5s doesn't have direct access to apps like Tidal (unless I've missed something). Perhaps this X player will be Android powered...a rival for FiiO's M6 or M9?
very, very interesting. Shanling doesn't disappoint with value for money DAPs. Still liking my old M2s. Any word already about output impedance? No 4.4mm balanced and only one card slot though
