If true, I look forward to giving this a try. Lots of wireless interference where I work. If there's no American distributor, I guess I can order from a Canadian one.

One question about the case: How does this player attach to straps, like in the pictures? There's a woman with a workout strap, and a man has this attached to his bag's strap. Is there a clip or attachment somewhere on the case?

Edit: A-ha, looks like I found the American distributor.

America

  1. Distributor:Gold Dust Global LLC
  2. Tel:/
  3. Address:36 Berkley Drive Newark Delaware, 19702 US
  4. Contacts:Gold Dust Global LLC
  5. Type:Portable Digital

There is a clip behind the case, making it possible to attach to any strap. We also attached two different size of sporting straps in the case set.

Thanks.

With regards to scrolling, how is the UI structured? Basically, I want to be able to either shuffle all my songs, or select an album and play it straight. Is it complicated to do either one of these? I have a 128GB card but nowhere near filled, with 320kbps MP3s. Does it show album art in the list of albums? To be honest I kind of forgot to ask about the lack of a touchscreen.

Regarding my post with the US distributor that's listed on Shanling's site, there doesn't seem to be any contact info on them. Google Street View of that address shows a house in the middle of nowhere. Kind of sketchy. I'm actually going to Delaware next week, wonder if I should ring the bell and ask if they have any blue M1s with a blue case.

Otherwise, I guess I'll order from Shenzhen Audio or contact the Canadian distributor.

that looks pretty small, do you have a link for that?

This is the one I have (option 7): https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z09.2.0.0.bs7WGE&id=537999317212&_u=b11o9rqqe5de

This is another one I ordered to try: https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z09.2.0.0.bs7WGE&id=529538146962&_u=b11o9rqq34cd
Do you think it's too small for a pocket-friendly Mojo transport?

I don't, I think it is perfect and I fully intend to replace this AK100 Mk2 with this. It is smaller, sounds the same with the mojo, and might be even easier to use thanks to the scroll wheel. The only question is in what position I will attach them together (with dual lock) so that the scroll wheel is easily accessible and the cable not too expose. I think it will be the position you see in the picture.

You can browse easily by song, album, artist, genre, or folder, and set to shuffle. It is really easy. No album art in the list of albums, it would be too small.

Does this have a stopwatch feature? And is it easily accessible (will I have to navigate through menus every time I want to open it, or can i just turn the screen on and it'll still be on the stopwatch)? Does the screen stay on while using the stopwatch?

No
