Hello. I tried to connect the mifo o7 headphones to the m0 player, firmware 3.2. They connect for a very long time. The sound is not adjustable and very quiet. The headphones in the case for charging the headphones do not reconnect, you can connect only through the BT menu.

Replied to your PM.

@Shanling is there any chance to see SBC XQ added on a later update?

Honestly, didn't heard about this before. After quick search I see it's only available on some alternative Android OS?

From what I read it seems like a patch to the existing SBC codec to push it to APTx HD levels. There seem to be some builds available for Linux and patches for Windows and Android, but only alternative Android OS have started including it built in.

Since the m0 operating system is Linux based it seemed like it might be doable.

extraction via 7-zip and windows explorer both had the same problem. I will try winzip.

No way?!?!?! That is a definite point off its score. You can map the wheel to stop/start but it still means fishing about in your pocked to change volume.
Had a frustrating few days before I relised it was a cheap SD card that was causing problems. Got a new one and everything is fine now.

What is the best Windows software for managing large libraries? Probably got 45K+ tracks and have been using iTunes up till now. Wouod like something that did ripping, copying and playlists.

A lot of people use the free foobar 2000 [ https://www.foobar2000.org/ ], and some use the paid JRiver Media Center 26 [ https://jriver.com/index.html ].
I use MC26 on both Windows & Linux.

Thanks. I will check them out. My only oyher comaplaint is that if you browse by Genre, you just get all the tracks of that genre. Not sorted by album or artist. When you have thousands of albums it makes tracking the right one down a bit harder.

My first M0 died after the battery swelled. I liked it so much I bought another one.

Now the second unit is dying after 7 months. It plays but the wheel and button stop responding, have to hold the button down to restart. After restarting it lasts for 3-5 seconds before freezing - just enough time to get to the factory reset. Worked for about a week after factory reset and back to freezing.

Won't be buying another one. 2/2 failed for me under light use.

MediaMonkey [ https://www.mediamonkey.com/ ] is another good one (according to numerous websites), but I haven't tried it.

I have had mine for a little over a year, although it has less than 100 hours of use, probably significantly less. Used it yesterday as a digital transport to my Jot via USB starting from a full charge, and the battery appeared to only last about 3 hours before the charge icon turned red and it turned itself off. Since use as a digital transport should be the least demanding use case for the battery (since it is using neither the dac nor the amplifier in the device) I am a bit concerned about the state of the battery. I am testing it today playing via my hfm re600s, playing at about 1/2 volume to see how much playtime I get. These are the least demanding 'phones I have. I will report back with the result.

For 8 months of use, on average, I listen to audio books for 5-6 hours, the average battery life has decreased from 9 hours to 4-5 hours. On firmware 3.2 you have to listen at a volume of 55%. The battery charge time decreased from 1 hour 50 minutes to 1 hour 05 minutes.
Conclusion The battery is very average quality.
Ultimately you have to look for a replacement battery.

Sorry to hear you had such experience with our M0.

As your M0 is only 7 months old, please contact your seller for warranty repair/replacement.

Replacement parts for M0 can be purchased from our partners at Shenzhen Audio https://shenzhenaudio.com/products/...creen-battery-for-m0-hifi-portable-mp3-player

Any way to orient the screen upside down? Would help in certain cable situations, please help

Such function is missing from MTouch system.

About 8 hours of play under the above conditions. I am amazed that it uses twice as much juice used as a transport via USB than playing through earphones. I am ok with the 8 hours though.

Is the "Jot" a Jotunheim? If so, I believe that the USB part of the DAC card is powered from the source device so it is taking power from your M0.

This is a good thought, and something that had not ocurred to me. My understanding was that power from the transport device was only necessary for the initial "handshake" between devices and that after that was complete, the dac was self-powered. This still seems a likely source of the problem though. Good thing I have other dacs and transports I guess. It was really just an experiment that failed then. Thanks for your input @tjw321.
