Further test results... @endgame: you asked if GAPLESS play also works from a folder. It does. Furthermore, it doesn't matter what is in the folder. It can be a bunch of random files in various formats from different albums, they will still be played gapless. But: playback should still be in LIST PLAY mode, otherwise gapless will be disabled. @Nailgun: and... it works. I put mp3, WAV and FLAC files in the same folder, turned on LIST PLAY and GAPLESS, opened the folder, and everything played back flawlessly. No glitches, no tic sounds, no jumps, but also: no fades, no shortened audio! The only thing that obviously happened, was that sometimes there was this little 35 millisecond gap before or after a mp3-file. The transitions from FLAC to WAV and vv were spot on. So, Shanling, if you want to make me happy: please enable gapless play in all settings, including, especially, SHUFFLE PLAY. This would solve problem nr. 2 completely for me. As for problem nr. 1 (tiny gaps between mp3 files in gapless play): I can totally live with that. And I saw some other people said the same. Note that I did not test AAC, mp4, APE and other more obscure formats. I also did not test the use of playlists, since i never use those.
