Since M0 works just fine with other Sony products, not sure why yours should be more demanding on the code.
Did you tried to do factory reset on M0 and try to pair them again?

Hi @Shanling. I just wanted to ask if it would be possible to add the filename to the info track view with the bitrate and the location. Thank you.

  3. bflat
LDAC will change bit rates on the fly depending on the quality of the BT connection. The LDAC bitrates are 330, 660, and 990 kbps. Just because you see LDAC connection doesn't mean you are always at 990 kbps.

I have the ATH-DSR9BT and have been planning to get the M0 to take advantage of the BT feature. What's keeping me from buying the M0 though is the not very positive feedbacks/reviews (which is not many) from owners who bought one for BT use. Issues like not being able to connect to some BT headphones, dropped connection, choppy playback and not able to use play/pause/forward/back controls on the headphone. There's really not many reviews on how the M0 is with BT, all the praise are via wired connection. It's almost like the BT option on the M0 is taboo... no one dares to go there to put it to the real test.

Anyway, here's the specs on my DSR9BT (if that matters)
    Communication System: Bluetooth Version 4.2
Output: Bluetooth Specification Power Class 2
Compatible Bluetooth Profiles: A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, HSP
Support Codec: aptX HD, aptX, AAC, SBC

    Thanks

Is it normal for the screen to take 1 or 2 seconds to respond to touch, after it has been activated?

When I press the wheel to activate the screen, sometimes it takes 1 or 2 seconds before my finger is sensed. This happens usually if the screen has been off for more than 5 minutes or so.

No, it should be instant, regardless of how long it has been off. For me it responds immediately to touches after turning the screen on.

Do you mean when you are turning on screen, while playback was still going or when you are waking it up from Standby mode?

    I have tested the following

    Transmitter Mode:
APTX with HUGO and an KZ MMCX BT Cable.
AAC with KZ MMCX BT Cable
SBC with Bose Sound Link & Car;s head unit.

    Receiver Mode:
    LDAC from Sony A17
    AAC from iPhone

I have no issues with M0's bluetooth features. It's BT performance is as good as Sony's A17, which is a plastic body (theoretically better for BT). I'm impressed how it just works out of the box.

Turning on the screen while playback is ongoing.

    That's promising to know, thanks.

My main concern really is between the M0 and my BT headphone which in this case a DSR9BT. Will I be able to use the DSR9BT's media controls (play/pause/forward/back) to operate the M0. I've read a review on an Amazon buyer losing functionality of headphone's media control when paired with the M0 via BT.

Can happen sometimes, depends on size of music library, on type of played file, if you are using BT, etc.

I use M0 quite often for my Marshall Monitor BT and LEVN BTI-031 transmitter/reciever (CSR8675), I have no problem with bluetooth at all. M0 always connect with AptX, that supported by both devices, no issues with volume or media control over AVRCP. Range distance is average, it's same as on most phones. I can manualy switch on M0 to use AAC or SBC which will take effect after reconnecting, but aptx sounds much better. With M0 in reciever mode I successfully connected it to the old cheap Redmi 3S with some AOSP Oreo ROM and LDAC HQ works perfectly. Unfortunately M0 does not support AptX HD like yours DSR9BT, but with ordinary aptX it plays very well and for hi-res audio the cable is always better choice, at least for that placebo effect :)

I don't think we will get anywere to solve this issue. Yes, I tried this countless of times, no luck! I just can't see the LDAC icon but assume that it's using LDAC since the LDAC-HQ is enabled in the bluetooh settings.

Yesterday I tried with my friend's Sony WH-1000XM2 headphones, again, no logo, just bluetooth logo is there. So it's not only my Sony speaker.

I was only able to see the LDAC logo when I used ProStereo H2 Bluetooth headphones (which is another Chinese brand). So this makes me think that maybe Sony is giving away a slightly tweaked LDAC code to Chinese companies to use.

P.S. Also, I try to jump between the codec options (LDAC-HQ, LDAC-AUTO, LDAC-CONNECT, Aptx, AAC) and I can't tell the difference in sound, so this makes me also think that I might be using a standart bluetooth connection regardless of what I am selecting, which is annoying!

We even have these Sony headphones in our office and they work just fine with M0 in LDAC mode.
