Mike did a review of the Shanling M0 on headfonics. He seems to like it a lot.

Is the M7 I am heading about a flagship level DAP or something very different in the range? I still have the old M5.

Hi there. I am searching for a DAP that would pair well with my NiceHCK HK6, initially I thought about getting the Sony NW-ZX300A on Joybuy but I find it hard to justify paying $350 for a DAP with 0 streaming services. I've been using the SMSL Idea DAC+AMP with my phone (streaming Qobuz) for a year which I love but it draws too much battery. Anyway after seeing all the good feedbacks on the M0 I wonder if it could replace my SMSL. Obviously I'm expecting more a sidegrade than an upgrade from it but if anyone who has tried both Idea and M0 can confirm than they're on par sonically speaking it would be great. Also, sorry if it has already been asked, but when used in USB DAC with a phone does the M0 draw battery from the phone ?
Thanks in advance

I am really happy with the M0 overall performance and build quality. My only "wish" is that crossfeed (not cross-fade) might someday be added as a menu-selectable item. Pretty-please!!

Agreed, both would be nice!

Those red X only mean not to try how much can clip bend until it breaks. Any reasonable user will hopefully understand it. And if not, he can get new one for less than his coffee costs.

Fair enough, Frankie :) As long as the M0 isn't in the clip when it fails... causing the M0 to fall to the asphalt... resulting in the M0 getting crushed by a truck... Then it's not the cost of a coffee, but the cost of a StarBucks.

First, how many BT earbuds can show up as paired at any one time? And second, would be nice to have a way of deleting any BT devices from the neighbors that happen to show on screen. Right now there are probably too many showing to allow any of my BT earbuds to be paired.
