I may have missed it, but what is the approximate battery run-time?

Audiobooks not yet implemented.

Also, everybody keeps mentioning R3, yet they are completely different devices for different type of users. If you want Wifi and Tidal, R3 is great. If you want something that is almost 3x smaller, has half more battery life, has two-way LDAC connection and at half the price, M0 is for you.

I think the juxtaposition in time is just making us think of them as equivalent, when the M0 is clearly aiming for the more mobile end of the spectrum.

@Shanling if you are doing a review tour, I'm happy to do a review! I've used the Fiio X1 II (reviewed too) and tried the Shanling M1, and am currently on the LG V20. I'm very curious to see how it sounds like compared to the ESS9218 implemented on my V20 :D

Is the new MTouch OS based on Hiby software?

Nice work Franta :)
I am also very interested in this device, as a long-sought replacement for the awesomeness that was the rockboxed clip+. Let me add my support to the voices asking for a better audiobook/podcast software support. By that I mean mainly three things, in order of importance:
1) Resume function (absolute necessity, some small players don't have it curiously enough)
2) Bookmarks (really nice to have)
3) Playback speed setting (also nice to have)
Touchscreen is kinda scary, because with a device this small, you often want to control it in your pocket without looking (or with sweaty fingers while running). Anyway, I hope the UI is up to the task.
Really looking forward to any news about this thing.

We all understand that part. What are your PLANS? Are you definitely going to implement it (eventually)? or no decision yet whether to implement or not?

I don’t need it but i am still going to buy it
Can be said for every purchase I have made since starting with this hobby...

@Shanling - will the M0 work as transport for the Mojo? Including Bluetooth streaming from a smartphone to output via M0 to Mojo? Thanks.

Not functioning right now, but we hope to have it working before release.

Nice work Franta :)

I'm definitely pushing our team to make add dedicated audiobook functions, went with them over some audiobook apps on phones, explained priorities to them.
It's planned, but not likely to have it done on release, honestly, we are now working on other more important parts of the system.

And about control in pocket, you can double click wheel for changing songs or pausing music(set up your preferable in setting)

How many songs can it index? M1 only has 15,000 tracks, this means I cant shuffle all my tracks.

Our system has limitation set at 80 000 files.

That is encouraging - I think most of us can live with podcast and audiobook functionality added later, as long as it is going to be released eventually...
