Little bit more info on ME100 for you:

Body is CNC machined aluminium, with tempered glass on the top, to make it nice pair with our players

Weight of single monitor is 5 g. Pair of monitors, with eartips and cable, weight in total just 28 g.

Ergonomically shaped and of course made for cable to go over-ears.

It was long way to get to the this great dynamic driver. And even longer until we tuned everything with two vents.
Tuning was done both in factory, with our horde of experienced audiophile employees, and with few testing groups in China. Almost final version was then presented at Canjam London and we couldn't be happier with reactions we got.

One note, drivers in ME100 and ME500 shares lot of similarities, but due to their different roles, we needed to do some changes. So for example driver in ME100 has CCAW voice coil, which helps with mids and highs, while OFC voice coil in ME500 is more suited for it's role as bas-mid driver.

Now, we are getting to the cable. Actually part where I was most involved, because I quite dislike most cables on the market, always searching for better comfort and usability, so this gave me chance to make something more to my liking.

Cable has 8 wires, it's pure copper, 5N OFC. Unfortunately no fancy bright orange, just stealthy black .
All parts are from aluminium, we tried to go with something good looking, but also subtle.
For more secure fit over the ears, we went with flexible pre-shaped PVC tubing at the end of the cable. We believe it's much more comfortable solution than industry standard with annoying metal wire, that needs never-ending reshaping.
Important thing was easy usability, because nothing is worse than good looking cable parts that are too sleek to hold and pull. So at MMCX connectors we have small "ridges" and both Y-split and jack are shaped for proper grip.
We of course has tight fitting chin slider.

Final cable is not for audiophiles that love their fancy looking, stiff and heavy cables. But we are much more happy with our really light, flexible and truly practical cable.

Later you will be able to buy separately "premium" version, 6N OCC silver plated copper, with 2.5 mm jack. Thicker, little less flexible, but with the same high-quality cable elements.
wow nice! I wanted to ask you this. Are you planning on sending some sample units for reviewing purposes? If so, I will be happy to review it!

Awesome, thanks for the info. Very pleased to hear about the MMCX connector ridges and cable sounds good in general. Looking forward to seeing some pics!

Any listening impressions??

We got some feedback on Canjam London, otherwise we only took them to show in China.

We should be getting first run in short time and they will go to multiple reviewers right away.

Dual-magnet dynamic driver

Dynamic driver in our new Shanling ME100 earphones features special design with two separate magnets and with CCAW voice coil positioned precisely in-between. Such arrangement helps us to achieve much stronger magnetic field, thereby greatly improving transient response and enhancing performance of driver in both high and low frequencies.

Hi, so what's the nozzle diameter on the ME100?

I guess around standard of Comply T400, maybe tiny bit smaller. I fit on them everything from Vsonic, over Sony, Spinfits, to JVC Spiral dot.

The ME500 has same configuration as FiiO F9 Pro, 1 dynamic + 2 BA.
I am very interested in this new IEM, hopefully someone can compare both.
One thing I like about FiiO F9 pro is it includes an 2.5mm trrs cable, save us a bit to
find balanced cable for it.
