In 2022, we will be launching new line of Shanling IEMs - MG line.

Main concept of MG line are designs based around a single dynamic driver construction. You can expect different drivers with some unique diaphragms, matched with shells made from a wide range of materials and we will be playing around with a few other, less common concepts of IEMs.

Now, let me introduce our first MG model:

Shanling MG600

You might have seen stabilized wood on some high-end custom made IEMs, headphones or speakers. Always looking so unique and so gorgeous. And we decided to bring this special material into standard IEMs. Keeping the look and its wood acoustic characters, but in a form of smaller and easily available IEMs.

Main body of the MG600 is made completely out of a stabilized maple wood, with color tones ranging from deep dark to very light blues, accompanied by yellow or golden veins going through it. Each pair carefully crafted and color matched, yet each of them being wholly unique and not like any other.

With MG600 we are also revealing our new IEM design, with a smaller and rounded design. Combined with the very low weight of the wood, it makes for a pair of extremely comfortable IEMs.

Shanling ME200 - Dual Driver Hybrid Earphones

As “Playful look, serious performance” slogan shows, we decided to go a little bit different way when it came to our newest earphones. Shanling ME200 are using same high-quality components and drivers as our previous earphones, but instead of elegant, yet little bit cold look, we went completely opposite way.

Shanling ME500 Platinum edition

ME500PE will be slightly more expensive than standard ME500 (269 x 299 USD), but it's not just about more fancy look, we made some additional improvements:

- Platinum coating is not only making them look even better, even more shiny and mirror like, but also is more resistant to any abrasion and oxidation.

- We managed to get new type of premium MMCX connectors for ME500PE, with thicker gold plating, that should assure longer life span, less signal dropouts and also tighter fit. They should withstand 4 times longer than standard MMCX connectors.

- Based on feedback, we made small changes to treble tuning.

- We switched from previous hybrid cable to all silver plated copper, resulting in slight improvement in sound. Also new cable is made with more precise technology, that should significantly reduce any unwanted oxidation of wires.

- For ear guides, we changed from PU tube to PE heat-shrinkable tube, making them softer and more skin friendly.

- Lastly, instead of metal C1 case, ME500PE will come with new C4 leather case.

I don't see it as wrong. ME100 right side is red and ME500 left is blue. Normal red/right Left/blue scenario. How is it wrong?

Red/Blue is for plumbers and indicates hot/cold. side markings have to be red for left and green for right.

No, no buddy. Green and red is for traffic lights and power (green = good , red = needs charging). Green is not a directional color but a safe condition color.

Sigh, red and blue has been standard in audio for a long time. Red and bLue for right and left (too bad no common colors start with L).

Anyway, can't wait to try the me500. I was just starting to get bummed out about a sudden slowdown of new IEMs (aside from tfz and kz) and now announcements are coming out all over the place.
