Did they just copy the Meze Empyrean/Elite headband system?
It does look a lot like the old Acoustic Research AR-HA1 but with a Meze headband.

I do like the design, but I see hybrid pads in the photos and I absolutely loathe hybrid pads, I hope they have some all leather alternatives.

@Shanling What player is that? It has the styling of the MCD1.3 and SCD1.3, but lacks the cd tray above the screen … Is that the SM1.3 by any chance? Finally!! 😊❤️ ..

I auditioned these at High End Munich this year.
They might have been a late prototype at the time, I don't recall....

What I DO remember is that they reminded me A LOT of the Oppo PM1, but with a smidge more V-shape to the tuning.
I think a lot of people are going to really love these.

Since the headband has been heavily inspired by Meze, I wonder how comfortable these are
