Setup advice for newbie - VALAB USB DAC and Windows XP

Hi, I'm new to computer audio, and largely due to the discussions in this forum I've just purchased a Valab USB DAC. I can't figure out how to configure my Windows XP laptop to use it. None of the drivers I've tried to install will recognize it--- any help would be so much appreciated. Thanks to all!

Windows should normally just recognize the DAC and load the drivers hardwired into it. Search this forum (or the web for that matter) for "Valab" and you'll probably find out all you need:
