Hey guys. Any advice here is much appreciated, for real.

I own the AKG K7XX, and the Hifiman HE-400i and HE-4XX, running thru a Schiit stack (Vali 2, Loki Mini, and Modi Multibit). I'm ok with where I'm at for the most part as it relates to what I can afford, but I still want better sound if possible. I love the planar sound, so I was thinking of moving up to the HE-560 V3s (available at a really good price) or possibly the HE-500 (if I can find a pair $500 or below; I could save $200 by going with the HE-560, though). On the other hand, I started off with AKG and I love their detailed sound and soundstage; I figured the next progression with them would be the K712 Pro; these I can find in very good condition almost all the time on eBay for $250-$300. So I'm kinda stuck in between these two type of soundscapes. And as always, price is a heavily weighed part of this (though if something like the HE-500 sounds THAT much better I'd consider it totally worth it at $500). Any ideas or advice on this, guys?
