Separate Electrostatic/Planar Headphone/Amp Forum?

IMHO it's the lack of a dedicated forum for electrostats and orthos what's forced their threads to grow in such an insane manner. It's a load of information, but unless you're contributor or can play some magic on the search utility, the whole thread is a mess to find specific info.
Add my vote to have a dedicated forum on planars, so we could have threads for tweaks, "best" amps, recommended sources... maybe we won't have more information, but it'd be more manageable.

I totally agree - I think it would help get more ortho/'stax members if they knew what they were or are getting into, and how to do certain things, what's the best amp for them, and on and on...

We already have a lot of active planarist, I'm sure having a bit more leg room would help to organize them.

i agree that a dedicated planar section would be nice, and although i quite like the "rolling conversation" style of the stax and ortho threads, i can see how it would be difficult to enter them if you are new to planars, or havent kept up with the conversation for a while.
especially since no one knows of, or uses ludoos awesome search engine.

unfortunately, this might also end up "killing" those threads, as the conversations will be broken off into lots of different threads instead of just one.
in my opinion, the stax thread really took a hit after the move to the high end forum, and i dont want the same to happen to the ortho thread.

oh, and newbies probably wont enter that section anyway, as most dont know or care what planars are

As a planar noobie I find the stax & ortho threads to be basically impenetrable.

Separate forum would make it a lot easier for people to become interested/research.
