SENNHEISER VS SONY HEADPHONES

Guys please help me select a headphone between sennheiser hd 380 pro -- sennheiser hd 598 and sony mdr-xb920---Sony MDR-1R/B
my main purpose for buying is listening music
 
which one of above have more bass & louder sound
PLEASE GUYS HELP ME I AM TRYING TO FIND AN ANSWER FOR LAST 2 WEEKS. I WILL BE VERY THANKFULL TO YOU.

Might help to know what sources your going to plug the headphones into?
 
Off hand, my gut says the Sony MDR-1R will offer the best sound quality (guessing).
Not sure which would be loudest (Sony MDR-XB920?).
HD598 will not have a lot of bass, for someone looking for bass.
I'm sure there are fair number of HD380 Pro owners on Head-Fi, not many recommendations on them.

Also do you need Closed headphones? The sony's are closed and thus offer isolation or the sheild outside noise, the Senns your mentioned are open [at least I think the 598 is] and do not offer any form of isolation.

  closed or open it doesn't matter to me.. ONLY SOUND QUALITY MATTERS
I am going to use headphones in my pc

Okie dokie then so stop for a minuete. If sound quality matters, then do you have an amp and a Digital Audio Converter to use with your headphones? I have heard both the Senn HD 600 and HD 650 need an amp
