Hi there I'm back and this time I have a long list of headphones to choose from....
The list is:
Sennheiser Momentum
Shure SRH 940
Shure SRH840
Sennheiser HD-518
Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro
AUDIO TECHNICA ATH PRO700 mk2
Sennheiser HD 449
Audio-Technica ATH-M50S
UE 4000
UE 6000

Yes I know the list is all over the place but hear me out.
I am currently using XBA-3
In a few days will get XB400 (just for temporary use)
In July I plan on getting MDR-1R and a fiio E12 or E17 cant decide

I like to listen to mostly Clapton, Beetles, Pink Floyd, Eagles, Adele, Linkin Park, Skillet, T-Pain, Pitbull, Chris Brown, Magnetic Man and Klaypex.

I am extremely happy with my XBA-3 except at times I do think it needs a bit more bass.
That's why I'm getting the XB400 and 1R.
Please don't try to change my decision there but if you have other hp suggestions please tell me.

I'll get one of these end of this year so there is still some time as I will have to save up.....

Oh I'll get them in Australia and you can get them all around $300 cuz thats my budget......

Thanks for your help in advance.......

Of the headphones you list that I have heard (Momentum, Pro 700 mk2, ATH-M50S, UE6000) I suggest you get the Momentum's. They will be a good investment and still satisfy your need for a good low end.

I would not get the 1R if you want more bass than the XBA-3.

I was actually leaning towards the pro 700 mk2 or the m50....

could you tell me the difference between them and the momentum please???
I hear the momentum is a bit on the semi-over ear headphones side....
still if comfy i will look into them......
I am planning to get one of these for my bass needs....
I hear the the pro 700 mk2s are like subs on your ear  and i like the design......
any thoughts on the amp?????
i will use a s3 or note2 to listen to them....

Dang I came in thinking that there was a review, perhaps others had the same thought?

I would say the momentum, if you planning to carrying your headphones around, a case would really work best.

I'm getting a UE9000 soon. I'll let you know how if sounds.

If its just for home use, I would go for the 940s. Less bass than the 840, m50 and Momentums (the only other ones in the list I've heard ), but certainly more balanced and detailed than all of them. The bass is very textured and punchy.

It looks like he made up his mind and got HD518, according to his profile.
