I will be going on a trip soon and was thinking of getting headphones to use with my phone and laptop overseas and have settled on these 2. They are of the same price in my area and i'm wondering which is better in terms of comfort and audio quality? I listen to a wide range of styles but mainly listen to pop and electronic.

The Momentum 2 over-ear is more comparable to the M50X.  However the ear cups are small, and are a snug fit for my ears making things get warm quick.  The M50X have too high a clamping force for me, I do not find them comfortable at all.  Best Buy sells the Momentums, and Guitar Center sells the M50X, so if you live near a good size city they should have both you can try.
