Well dammit...I thought I had easily eliminated an option. I guess Brise is back on the menu. I need to take the time to peruse their site with Google Translate and see if I can make sense of what choices I have, how much it'd cost, and how I'd order from them. Thanks for the clarification....I guess, hahahaha. I just know I don't want a garden hose hanging from my ears, LOL.Although the memory wire needs tweaking, it's made from titanium so is incredibly strong and very malleable. Once it's moulded in place, the fit is very good.

The pause I mentioned is when I pressed play on my DAP - the gap between pressing play and the sound starting basically!
I'm listening again now, I feel like the sound is more refined overall - maybe due to both the cable and having clocked up another 100 or so hours on the IE900 over the last few days while the cable was burning in! But most importantly, the harsh sound that was there last Wednesday in particular has completely gone away.
So the people at Brise found a way to have a cable sound like trash, but kinda repair itself within 150 hours of usage. Boy that is excellent engineering. The sound blackout on your first listen was a side effect of their magic engineering process go live. That is world class ........

Let me correct you, I am someone with a lot of experience in life. I don't fit into categories.I guess that puts you in the non-believer category
What if I am right?
It's all a dream anyway, so a dream within a dream is harmless.

Maybe they put a chip inside and it self corrects with time I heard of theories like that too!
Its like a resistor that tunes the signature
Even though I have my own thoughts about expensive cables, I think this is probably not a good place to start a discussion about that. There is the science thread for that discussion I guess
Well this is a thread for IE900 , when some members post about how cables changed the sound ,for many that's totally irrelevant too. Maybe there should be a pararell thread for that. I can see what you mean but in every thread there are people using different cables, claiming it has certain effects.Well this is a thread for IE900 , when some members post about how cables changed the sound ,for many that's totally irrelevant too. While in my personal opinion the whole discussion is pretty pointless since in the end, it’s just about enjoying music and everyone has to decide for themselves.
Personally I am in the scientific camp and I believe in 99% of the cases, a cable will have barely any audible effect and a lot of it is placebo or brain burn in.
Scientifically speaking a cable is highly unlikely to reduce the treble spikes by a certain amount of dB unless the stock cable had some sort of weird impedance problems (and your IEM is very sensitive) and you now fixed those with your own proper cable but that still wouldn’t require a super expensive cable.

Yeah maybe, seems odd alright.
So is IE900 a keeper for you? I know it hasn't knocked Fourte off the thrown!
I haven't yet decided I am still experimenting a few things around and ie900 definitely have an amazing strong carachter with automotive sound where bass can shake the earth and give you good vibes.
I also found I like how ie900 sound good and probably the best, is with Final Type E eartips, I use medium small I think the grey ones. And funny enough I like how sennheiser medium foames sounds with my fourté
I am in a process of exchanging my all time strong ultra powerful Tia Fourté with a friend for hes SHICHIKU.KANGEN https://snext-final.com/en/products/detail/SHICHIKUKANGEN
This is a super mighty very rare on the market iem also a single DD iem like ie900 but made all fully of berillium membrane! Lets say I am super curious how this big flagship will competition against the ie900 as they are both single DD right
Yes this is the hard way to do it by jeopardizing my fourté in and letting them go for something yet I dont know how it will turn around? I am a bit worried but I heard the SHICHIKU.KANGEN once and it has never left my mind since then .
So I have once again new challenges and adventures that are awaiting me next week! Letting my fourté go hmmmm
Right now I have in my arsenal ie900, JH Lola and tia Fourté. I am not a collector so I only keep the ones that drives my soul to the fullest!

I know , I just try to ignore it , but discussions are bound to happen .but in every thread there are people using different cables, claiming it has certain effects.

Can you please compare the microphonics of the brise audio? Does taps and clanks get transferred up to your ears like in the stock cable?
