That would not surprise me at all, my guess would be around 2000 $US as well with current up stream prices new flagships are hitting these days.

I would like to think they are reasonably priced but I doubt for sure they will be priced in line with the HD800S

The release of the HD 660S came completely out of the blue. And because their release was so unexpected, some (myself included) at first thought it was some kind of joke or hoax!

So pretty much anything is possible for the launch of the HD 820.

There is no question as to whether it’s real at this point. It’s been confirmed by the person who has it that it is a closed back (presumably flag ship level) and the only question is when it will be released.

Will you guys just stop it. Say $1400. If you keep saying $2000 that's what they will price them at! We need about 100 people to say they'd buy them for $1400 but no more. Or 150 people at $1200.

It was indeed a surprise; however, images of the HD660S were available.

I will wait for images of the HD820 or whatever it may be called, before I get my hopes up.

It would be nice though. I hope the rumors are true.
