Not that again... We will never know for sure how much different it is until we have a chance to listen to it. Maybe there will be little to no difference, maybe we will have a fuller and bassier sound?.. We should just wait and see.

The HD800 is widely discounted. Shopping around could bring this to £675

The same as UK, but official price of HD800 is still £1159

The reason I'm considering the HD800S is the correction of the sonic flaws of the original. Paint and cable have nothing to do with it.

I happen to think the sound of the current 800 are fantastic, but everyone is entitled to their opinions.

Yep extremely happy with my recent  (SN > 40.000) HD800 sample. No sonic flaws I can detect and  they let me thoroughly enjoy my music. The first headphones in a long list that I will never sell

No not really but I have never bought from them so why would I now? I always try to support smaller audio shops but I can order this stuff off amazon and know I will get good service. So with out customer service what do these other sights offer?
