Are these from USA ? Dealing with Customs nowadays is a pain....

Yes, they are. And yes, customs can be painful depending on your location. I do like Moon Audio, though. Unlike others, their cable ship immediately, and longer lengths are fairly priced. They are not super flexible but for sure durable.

Just wondered if anybody is using them here with the HD800S...

i've been fine with my stock pads - just been curious on changing pads

but the more i research into it based on people's review is that overall the stock pad is best in terms of keeping that hd800s sound

Quite strange to me that the unforgiving nature of the HD800S is considered a disadvantage by some. I want to hear the music as recorded...even if it’s a crap recording/mastering.
Also, have tried many alternative cables only to realise that the stock cable is perfectly acceptable.

I agree with both. It is fun to experiment with cables, but in the end it is ergonomy etc which matter most to me. In this, the stock cable fare better than most, they are flexible and sufficiently light.

Seeing your impressive headphone list - if you have to decide between the HD800S and the Utopias, which one would you let go?

It hasn’t been updated for a while and I have sold the Utopia a few months ago. I couldn’t live with the small soundstage...it was all too compressed esp. compared to the HD800S and SR009S. Utopia is a beautiful and very comfortable headphone, though.
