Well if you are using the actual surround on the GSX, then it doesn't really matter which headphones you pick. If we are talking strictly 2.0 then HD 660S Has really good directional audio in games, better than Game one. And 373 D is not game one. Don't know nothing about HD700.

If you ask me positional audio with surround on GSX is kinda simply put crap.

I really doubt the HD660s and HD700 provide any FPS gaming improvement (surround sound or sound stage), over using the PC373D,
If your looking for headphones that will improve audio quality for music and movies,
then I would say to go for the HD660s (my best guess and two cents).

what is different g4me one, vs 373d ? i think headphones ... Are you sure about good directional audio in games?:) you have hd 660s at home? thanks :)
The Sennheiser G4ME and PC373D are both use 50-Ohm drivers, so they should be using the same drivers, so really almost no practical difference between them.

You think HD 660s are better than hd700 ? And Soundstage on 373d is the same or better? Or sound stage is not important with using DAC GSX 1000 with Surround sound ? Im desperate because I read 2 weeks reviews .
and not decided . Sorry for my english :)

Soundstage and instrument separation are excellent on the HD700.
HD6x0 line has a more cohesive and intimate sound.

I think you can't get better than HD700 in terms of soundstage unless you go HD800/HD800S/K812/T1

I have Game one and HD660S. Felt really good playing with HD660 in games I could hear more than before with Game one, not by much more, but enough to notice. Could be placebo, but I know for sure there is improvement in sound quality over Game one.

Large soundstage that is just simply far away means nothing in games, like Q701 people suggest it for games because it has large soundstage, I had them, could not understand what people are on about "Good for games" What a joke. You want depth and accuracy within that soundstage, otherwise it's pontless in games regardless of how large the soundstage is.

Someone mentioned that in comparison HD600 is bad for games claustrophobic even, but that HD660S is different and you want to use it in games.

Thank you very much for your valuable answer, I appreciate it :) especially explanation about Sound stage, because i read about this whole day... So more important than soundstage is depth and accuracy and HD 660 s have it.
and what you think about sound stage G4me one VS hd 660 s its similar ? Because i like sound stage of my Pc 373d or g4me one

THANKS

If I had to choose between getting the HD660s or the HD700, I would have to base my decision on what I've heard second hand, so I'm sure there are other who have used them, hopefully both.

I don't think I can compare them that well, I haven't done that many back and forth between them, but I'd say pretty similar.

The 650’s have very small and intimate sound stage with the 600’s not being to far a head of them the 660’s don’t know haven’t had a chance to hear them yet. If you want soundstage the 700’s are a good choice and like was said earlier only a few can do much better. They are like Grado’s with the Love Hate relationship on their sound though. Myself I don’t have a problem with them they are a tad bit thin sometimes but do bring the soundstage and also very good detail and separation but with a Bottlehead Crack they come alive and ain’t half bad from a Mojo ( what I’m listening from now).

I Bought both headphones and this is my experience. If i try Hd 660s they have more natural and realistic surround sound, clear and pleasant. Hd 700 have very big soundstage and i connect this headphone with gsx 1000 and i activate 7,1 sound . I feel Echo efect, or bathroom sound effect .. Hd 700 are maybe better in stereo mode because they have really big Soundstage ,but with GSX 1000 is much much better Hd 660 s without echo or bathroom effect... Simply : Gsx 1000/1200 is better with Headphones with middle/high Sound Stage. Big/extrem sound stage (HD700,AKG712 pro etc,) is not appropriate , because there is an echo.

I hope this information will help somebody

Sorry for my english :)
