Feliks Audio Euforia

We have exactly the same cable on HD660s colour also :).... Its a Greek taste i guess lol.
That's my impression also i dont get it why people say that dont.

Ichos whats your opinion about meze 99 classics and focal listen pro , the ones with the red pads ?

I have listened to 99 classic two - three times.
I remember them as warm , fun sounding with a bass tilt.

I have reviewed Focal Listen pro for Hxosplus no.22
Good overall tonality with a slight tilt at high frequencies so that can be used at loud environments without loss of detail.
Not overly annoying.
Lack of distortion even at very high volume.
Good bass , slight mids emphasis.
Dynamic , precise but narrow head stage.
Pads on the small side may not fit large ears.
Excellent build quality.
Suitable beside pro use for every day listening on the go.
To be more precise better for casual listening than pro use!!!

Buy hxosplus to support us!!!

Will do thanks a lot. I will have to test ear pads first because if they are smaller than HD650 then its no go from me.
I have to go with classics.

The Classics are nice. They are my oldest 'phones at about three years old. Great value, nice sound, Super easy to drive and nice looking. They are my on the go headphone.

To be clear, the Classics are on ear, not over ear.

Sory for off topic i will stop asking.

simply a vendor advising a potential customer on how to get the best deal for themselves

Yes, that's what I do here. And having said that, as a manufacturer we can only try to please everyone, but it's impossible. Once in a while someone won't like what we do, which is fine :)

I see, so we can expect the exact same product in Europe a year or two later and 25% more expensive. Logical, this coming from an European company.

I know what you're thinking. "Why is this guy being so confrontational? We do whatever we want and whatever makes business sense."

It's because you were positively gloating about making your "better in every way" product available essentially just to the U.S. market. Sick and overly tired of it. It's like Qobuz, a French company, charging me EUR 19.99 for their CD-quality plan and at the same time offering "Studio" quality for USD 14.99 in the U.S. and making a big deal about it in advertisements. What the litteral f---, are we idiots, are we invisible? Unsubscribed from Qobuz and never buying Ifi as a matter of principle.

I in no way endorse the use of Qobuz to download their CD/Studio quality audio to your home PC using tools available for free on the internet. That would be wrong. But pricing practises like this would most certainly make me want to try it.

It would be interesting to learn what Quobuz representative would have to say about their marketing choices. Is there any on HF btw.?

I asked them about it while informing them that I will unsubscribe and they said:

"Hello,

We don't know yet about an arrival for those prices outside of the UK and USA. Be sure we will communicate officially as soon as a launch will get closer.

Best,"

So I just unsubscribed. Some people pointed out that maybe they have lower costs in the NA market, lower royalty fees, etc. but it really doesn't make sense that the royalty fees would be so much higher for the same artists (on the whole) between the two markets. I am pretty sure they are using their existing EU subscriber base to fund an aggressive push into the NA market. They know generally EU consumers are used to paying more. But this is just outrageous. I was paying 19.99 EUR for CD quality and then a video popped up on DarkoAudio promoting Studio quality for $14.99 in the U.S. Like a big middle finger.

I hear you. Perhaps if sufficient customer base will send them mails similar to what you just wrote, they'll adjust their policy eventually. This of course doesn't change the fact that Quobuz lost you as a customer.
