Will the HD660S sound fuller, bassier, punchy, slammy and dynamic with Mojo than the HD650 (actually I don’t like Mojo-HD650 at all, too "thin" sound)?

Prices are starting to do down on european amazons. They can already be had for 430 there and i already saw them at 399 one day,

Is there any hd25 lover with an hd660s? I would like to know if the 660 sounds similar to the h25 or if it is at least the hd6xx hdadphone that most resembles the hd25 sound sig....

In Canada no change in price on Amazon.ca (still full price). Still "AVAILABLE SOON" status at the official Sennheiser.ca site

Unless of coarse you caught their one day (or was it half a day) sale back in November.
.....but I'm still waiting on delivery which has an eta of Jan 8th?
Well Amazon.ca just made the 660S pricing a little more attractive...(just over $400 US)....so couldn't resist....: )....but back-ordered for a few weeks...which is fine by me.

...or if you don't mind used...

You will get various answers to your question since everyone is different:
For me I'd still get the HD650 only because I have a great amp for them (BH Crack), for someone just starting out and who doesn't want to deal with amps then the HD660S would be my recommendation. The HD598 and HD600 were not my cup of tea so to speak so that is something to consider.
I sometimes get tinitus effect from using the HD598 too long cause of the amount of highs/treble in them?. I'm looking for something with more of a warmer sound, and easier listening which is why the HD650 sounds more appealing to me than a HD600.

I'm like you, since the HD598 and the HD600 both sounded a bit too bright for me so your choice of the HD650 is probably a safer choice than the HD660S which is closer to the HD600 and might still be bright for you.

With regards to the HD 598 it’s also because of grain in the treble which exasperates the brightness a bit more. The HD 650 is the most laid-back of the HD 6xx family. The Hd 660 S is more HD 600ish than HD 650ish to my ears.

Starting to work on a full review of this headphone, should have it posted within a week. These are easily my favorite of the HD 6xx family, they just have that something I always found the HD 600/650 to lack, something not really shown by measurements but someone with esoteric knowledge in headphone and transducer design may be able to explain technically. These are definitely having some growing pains due to mixed reviews and the cost over it's siblings but in time these will find their place and have a following. I do personally think the HD 650 needs to be kept in production for those who want that sound signature.

Then HD 660 S is definitely not for you. In my opinion HD 595 is closer to HD 660 S than HD 598. I don't like HD 598 because it sounds muffled and warm compared to HD 595 (and HD 660 S). I don't find HD 598 bright at all and I think HD 660 S sounds rather neutral. If you get tinnitus I'd blame the volume level. It's good thing that they have reduced the sensitivity after each generation since HD 595 because it gets ear damaging volume levels way too easily. My HD 595 is unusably loud when directly connected to my soundcard.

I second this. He seems to recommend less than 50% of cans he reviews. I will keep my eye on his upcoming reviews about lcd2c and focal clear.
Is there any particular reason why more than 50% cans from major manufacturers are not worth buying.

Exactly, I have only headphones that never made this wall or got ripped off it. I enjoy them all. Beyer Amiron is incoming right now, that's for sure no contender for a wall.
