I would say that is so true most of the time, I know what you mean. The HD660S is one of the rare exeptions to me, have them on right now straight from the other rare exception, the Sony WM1A dap, balanced from the 4.4 mmm tab.

The HD660S does not sound like a headphone it sounds like The Headphone.
I ordered the HD660S this afternoon from Studio Economik in Montreal. I've been doing business with them for a few years now. They'll get them around November 15th. I live in a small village (HOW SMALL IS IT ???? SO SMALL THE MICE ARE HUNCHBACK 
) in Nova Scotia and Halifax is two hours away. I don't like the only major audio retailer in Halifax so I do business with two other places in Canada. Anyways the point is I can't wait to get these babies. If sound anything as good or hopefully a bit better than the HD600 & HD650 I'll be in 
Audio Heaven . But I've been through a waiting time like this before for an amp that was being built so the waiting time isn't an issue anymore.
Everything is cool. I'd add to that "very very cool" .

@XERO1 It is so bad. Like, I can't begin to understand what Sennheiser's marketing team was thinking. I'm glad someone else noticed that... I'm blocking it out of consciousness so I can continue to buy their products

I think they were channelling their inner Jim Carrey for this one!!
But really, this ad is not aimed at the head-fi set. We set our own terms and create our own group think. This video is to just to get attention - it won't convert over the original Beats crowd, but it may get some notice from the Think Different™ Apple-set.
Believe it or not, the HD 660S ad is actually an improvement over their last try!
