Sennheiser HD650 vs Grado 325i vs Beyerdynmaic DT880?

I wish this would be that simple! Most recordings were made with different techniques and different devices were used during all the process. In the end, some recordings shine with some headphones and some other recordings shine with some other headphones. Also different people prefer different sound signature for the same recording and that's because our hearing differ from one person to other.
 
It's imposible to recommend a headphone without knowing what you are looking for, or at least what kind of music are you going to listen through that headphones.

The more info you provide the better. What music do you listen to? What sort of sound signature are you looking for? (Neutral, bass heavy, ect) What pair of headphone do you have (as reference) and what would you like to improve on it? Ect...

Sennheiser HD650.   Extremely good performance across all genres, very comfortable, cable is easily replaced.  You can use them with a lot of devices but they scale extremely well when used with quality amplification.  The treble is more subdued compared to other headphones making them very non-fatiguing but once you've been using them a while you don't think of them as "dark".  Another plus is resale.  If you ever decide to move to another headphone, these can usually be flipped easily provided they are well kept.
 
The Beyers are a close second, but I find the oval pads on the Senns more comfortable. 
 
Not a fan of any Grado above the entry level models.  The higher up the scale you go the more you pay (a LOT more) for the same basic sound.  What's worse is, the mid-tier models like the 325i have probably the most uncomfortable pads I know of.  Whoever designed these is a masochist.  I have a pair of Alessandro Ms1's.   I love em. They have that very colored but fun Grado sound that is great for rock and watching movies with on my laptop because spoken dialog is very clear and easy to hear and hey have the "comfy" pads which I like.  I owned the SR60 but found them very fatiguing, not so with the MS1.

I am thinking of DT880 Pro. And i have not seen the ATH-AD900X! I will have a look at them.

The 650s. Those are world class reference headphones designed by one of the best, if not the best, in the business, Sennheiser. Prior to the HD 800s the 650s were the flagship and they certainly sound like it. The Beyerdynamic model is also good, however I just feel its a cut below the Sennheiser line. 
 
The Grados, well, they have a sound signature unto themselves. They are by no means bad headphones, however for myself at least no way I could justify sinking money into them over the 650s.

Im sorry that i did not write what i was listening to!

I often listen to techno, synth and rock. I like the more neutral sound, because i find it to have more clarity in the treble, and have more detail to the sound.

I have heard some "darker" sounding headphones, and i think it would be no problem for me to like the both neutral and the "darker" sounding headphone.

That is why i got the Gardo 325i on the list!
