I've narrowed it down to these 2 headphones.Their prices are:
I'm looking for a bassier warmer sound but also clear and detailed treble. So pretty much balanced but with a bump in the mid-bass to the sub-bass. The warmer sound would fit the HD650's but the K712's have a clearer treble. I'm worried that the K712's might be too bright/fatiguing and the HD650's might not have enough treble and sub-bass.
I listen to classical, instrumentals, mainstream pop, bass heavy electronic such as EDM. This is again a bit back and forth between the 2 headphones so I'm not quite sure which will suit my tastes better.
For reference, I own Shure SE215's LTD. I like the bass but I feel the treble could be clearer and more detailed.
I will be using these for gaming so soundstage does matter. I think the K712's win in this regard.
I will be using a Schiit stack so driving them won't be a problem.
Which would you recommend for me and why?
- HD650 - $380AUD
- K712 - $300AUD
