  Hello there,

Would you either recommend the hd600 or hd650 for gaming? I've heard the hd650 has a more precise / clear bass response?

FPS or games in general?

I used HD600s for years for gaming on my PS4 via Astro MixAmp Pro and it worked fine. However if its just for gaming there are better options at or below the price of the 6XXs

So you wouldn't say the hd600 sounds better for gaming than the game one for example?

I havent heard the Game One,so I cannot comment on that.

If youre looking for a headphone strictly for gaming then the price/performance of the HD600 isnt justified IMO.

The HD600 has a very small soundstage,so its not the best for pinpointing enemies in FPSs...the bass impact on the HD600 isnt great so explosions dont shake your skull,so the "fun factor" isnt the best.

However if youre looking for a headphone for gaming+music then its not such a bad choice....HD600s are legendary.I found them to be a bit boring, but thats more due to my personal music tastes.

For 100% gaming headphones I would suggest looking at this thread

If youre wanting a headphone to do gaming+music then it would come down to what types of music you prefer, what amp,if any, you would be using,etc....lots to consider before I can say "yes or no"
