Hi all, new around here, so hello!

I've been using a pair of Etymotic HF5 IEMs for the past couple of years now and I really like how detailed it sounds. I'm now looking to get a pair of open back headphones for home use to get better comfort and soundstage.

My budget is £150 and my main use for these headphones would be for music. I listen to a wide range of music but orchestra and acoustics would be my go to "music zen moments". Not a bass head and I don't own a DAC/AMP. I'm a student so I'm poor hah!

I've had a look around and my current interest is the Sennheiser HD598 which is priced at around £90 (approx USD120) and was wondering if it would be a good fit for my music style. I've read that the bass is lacking and am a little concerned because I do crave for a little more bass at times with my HF5 when I listen to orchestra music, you know that little extra oompf. Wondering if anyone has an idea how the bass might compare between the two? Also, any other suggestions for other headphones that might fit my needs?

Many thanks! :)
