I am debating which ones to get. I like more bass in my headphones, and quite frankly im not to wild about how much sound is leaked from the 595s from what everyone has told me. My main uses will be music( country and hip hop) and then also TV and some gaming.

-please help

I'd say don't get any of those if you want bass impact. I had the HD448 and I have the HD598. They both sound quite good, but if you're expecting bass, you will be disappointed.

i see that you do have the HD448, Optimus Praim, are you happy with them overall? because i am looking for a closed headphone because i dont want much sound to leak since i am going to be using them in a dorm room

I am looking to stay at about $100. I dont have the trained ear, im not even close to becoming an audiofile. I just want a pair of headphones that i dont feel are over priced (like the dre beats) or dont sound like crap. Like i sadi earlier all i really listen to is country and hip hop. I dont need the ridiculous bass, but i would like to be able to tell its there

The 428 is very similar to the 448 (the only differences I recall is the cable, which is thinner and longer - 3m - in the 428).

Regarding the SQ, I think they have a good sound for their price, but like Optimus said, the sound signature won't please most of the people (who wants bass). They do have bass (nothing like the Ultrasones of course), but they have no bass impact. Mids and highs are quite good on the other hand.

For country music, I think the 448 would be nice. For hip hop, you will like it only if you prefer the vocals over the beats.

Comfort-wise, they are great. And they have no sound leakage (even when playing a bit loud). I wished my Pro 900s isolated like that

I read that the Audio Technica SJ55 has a decent SQ (http://headfonia.com/audio-technicas-entry-level-trio-sj11-sj33-and-sj55/) and they should have more bass than the 428 and 448 (which is not so difficult). And I think it's in your price range (I saw them today for 39 eur, but I don't know how much they cost in the US).
