I want to get these headphones, and I've heard you can get them from 70-80 dollars. Most I've seen have been aroun 90-100, can any of you help me in finding a good site/ retailer for getting these cheap? Preferably with good shipping. Thanks in advance.

All the prices in Pricegrabber include shipping if you put your zip code in there.

Holy cow...I had to pay 90€. And retail in European stores, or at least in Germany, the bugger costs around 150.

From what I understand, you have to send it in and have the part installed. You can also just buy them pre done.

Dunno if this will help, but my HD280 manual says: "If you wish to convert your headphones into a headset,
please contact your Sennheiser service partner who will
equip the headphones with a microphone."

Or you could just buy the HMD-280 PRO
