I've tried the pleather and velour pads and both aren't very comfortable for long listening periods. 
 
Hence I was curious to find out if there are any companies or diyers who makes custom earpads for better comfort. I don't care if it looks big and wacky, just want better comfort!  hd25 with dt770 earpads would be a dream come true.

Not sure if the esw9/or esw10 leather pads will fit...those are comfy.
Or the new BEATs pads..comfffffy.

I have the leather yaxi pads and they are signifigantly more comfortable, however they do change the sound and I'm still not sure whether I like it or not.

After some more extended use I can't really say that the yaxi pads help too much for extended listening sessions and I think they make the bass a little too pronounced.  I think I am gonna try to get a pair of the pads that come on the hd 25 aluminum and see how they feel / work.

I'm using Yaxi Comfort pads for my HD25 damn comfy!
