Sennheiser HD238 vs Shure SRH240

Deppends on what you plan on doing with them. The HD238 are more than worth the money, but they leak sound in and out, so they're pretty useless as portables.

Listening to movies and music at my desktop. I have UE's for on the go.

I have the HD238's and tried the SRH240's. 238's are much more fun cans with stronger highs and bass and overall better bang for your buck... SRH240's are closed back, isolate more, and do have decent clear mids, but really has nothing else better to offer compared to 238's.

I love my 238! Although I havent tried the 240, I hear that their fairly lacking all around. I'd definetly go HD238, but your gonna hate the cable if your nitpicky like me (easy fix). Also check out this thread for mods you can do to them.
