Well, I ordered mine on Feb.3 under the original price on Amazon.ca & received a confirmation of my order from them for the same price with an approximate date of delivery. I checked under “Orders” and my order is still showing at the original price. If for some reason, I receive a message of a price change and they adjust my order, I’ll cancel it.

Now the only thing that could concern us is that the release date doesn't jell with the ship date. : (

Thank you for the pre-order! All signs point to an one-time delivery from the release date. No snow storms! You'll be fine.. : ) Amazon will honour the discount, had the same with my HD660S pre-order....at $544 Can before it went back to $679 plus tax and stayed there.

I find it funny how its still not on Amazon UK or even their home... Germany!
Do they sell a ton more in the USA or something? Sometimes it feels like it's the only country in the world that matters.

Yeah, it's like Chevrolet who's selling their latest model initially only in Europe. Very weird.I find it funny how its still not on Amazon UK or even their home... Germany!

There's a review up from Bloom Audio:
I watched this. Thanks very much for posting! To me, he wasn't very informative. Nothing I haven't been made aware of previously. Also, with never having seen any of his vids, I don't know his debth of knowledge. He could have said the build of the new headphone is identical to all other 6 series. He didn't.... He made it sound like the pads of v2 were consistent with v1, but didn't mention that all 6 series use the same pads. He seemed un-knowledgeable about the Senn pads wearing down when discussing clamp force. He may be one of the best reviewers around, but for me, I'm skeptical of what he says (based on my perception of his depth of knowledge).

These may have a different sound signature than the original, but my 660's are very, very good.. Different isn't always better, in fact can be the opposite. It's good to know Sennheiser is always tweaking this and that.,

This was an iBasso review, not HD660S2. Why there is no HD600/650 comparison?
