In breath-fine diaphragm details the HD 650 Silver edition differs from the altgedeinten stereoplay highlight HD 600, but those affect themselves dramatically. The high klangliche level of electrostatic headphones, represented of the legendary Sennheiser Orpheus, also with dynamic drive to reach (and naturally at according to favourable prices), already came before ten years with the HD 580 Precision within easy reach. The secret 580, which 1995 followed to the 50sten Sennheiser anniversary extremely closely tolerated 580 Jubilee, which found its completion in the HD600, are the invention of the Duofol diaphragm. Duofol is sand-yielded from polycarbonate and PU, which combine the advantages of both Materialen - high rigidity and strong internal absorption - in ingenious way. Optical characteristic of these listener generations is filigrane the perforated plate at the cap exterior, which lends its noble feature in silver Farbgebnung the HD650 developed to the stereoplay birthday. But is more important, how Sennheiser met stereoplays desire for a breath more bass. With newest simulation software geometry of the diaphragm within the rangerange range was optimized, with the result of clearly smaller harmonious distortions. By modification of the damping elements is reduced besides the diaphragm stroke, which favorably affects the intermodulation distortions and becomes also klanglich very positively apparent: The bass is substantially more outlined, and with the increased operational readiness level one now still approaches the acoustic happening. It harms that this masterpiece goes only starting from late summer into series.

Are you talking about treble energy(brightness

That would SUCK if it was more upfront and brighter. Why would they change the way the headphones sound? Obviously, they're improving the bass (which is good), but they should be faithful to the original. I think the HD600 sounds perfect just the way it is.
