Sennheiser HD 600 Causing Immense Pressure and Pain

Update: I've figured out the ACTUAL cause of my immense discomfort with the HD 600's: sinus congestion. I was sick during the time I was wearing them back then, when I complained of the pressure and pain, but when I started taking Sudafed, I was suddenly able to appreciate the HD 600's. I LOVE them. They're pretty comfortable once you adjust the metal bands to your liking, and they really are a step up in terms of audio over my previous headphones. I've simply never used open-backed headphones before, and this not only increases the soundstage and improves imaging, but I've also observed a different volume-scaling factor over any earbuds or headphones I've used before. It's hard to explain, but I love it. I love these headphones. A couple of my friends have made fun of me for getting them, making the sort of "snobby audiophile" impersonation to mock me, but hey, what am I gonna do? They can keep their Razer Kraken Chroma and cheap gaming headsets. I just got the best headphones of my life thus far, and just the perfect motherboard amp to pair with it :)

I'll probably post a review of the HD 600's later, btw. It'd be a crime not to.
