What's the difference between the Sennheiser HD 590-V1, HD 590-V2 and HD 590-V3?

P.S.: except different Art.-Nr. 4486, 4590, 4591

Where do you find the different V-#'s?

Have you tried asking Sennheiser directly?

This is interesting, I had no idea there were different versions. I hope we get some info, I was considdering them for my self.

Someone needs to talk to Sennheiser about this. I have never seen that designation. I had an earspeaker replaced in mine and they never said anything about which version I needed but of course they had them there so they wouldn't need that info from me.

Where did you hear of this?

Unfortunately all the information that I could find only in Deutsch HD 590-V2 HD 590-V3

EDIT: After following this link I performed a little babelfish magic and came up w/ the following:

V2 - "open, ear-enclosing headphone (packing variant US/Spanish)"

V3 - "open, ear-enclosing headphone (packing variant (British/French)"

I double-checked the different tabs given for all three products and the info is exactly the same down to the pics and .pdf files listed. So it looks like they are the same phone just with different packaging. *phew*

well if that's true, then it saves us a whole pile of ass trying to figure out which ones are best and where to get them and asll that. I really hope you're right..
