Sennheiser HD 518 - $49.99
Sennheiser HD 558 - $99.38
Sennheiser HD 598 - $144.92
I am looking to upgrade my headphones that I primarily use on my PC for music and gaming (without requiring an AMP/DAC).
After doing some research, I believe the 500 series Sennheisers will fit my needs perfectly.
I have a [MSI Z87-G45 motherboard] (https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/Z87-G45-GAMING.html#hero-overview) that boast a "Audio Boost" amplifier that provides 600Ω amplifier, EMI shielded audio codec, and high quality capacitors.
I mostly listen to Hip-Hop/R&B which is typically bass heavy and game first person shooters (Overwatch, CSGO)
From the reviews that I have read, the HD 518 and HD 558 provide a "beefier" bass sound than the HD 598 while compromising on the sound stage.
Based on this information, I'm looking for input for those who personally use/used these headphones while taking into consideration of what I will be using these for.
Thanks!
