I wonder when the head-fiers will discover the HD-518.
Great cans! In fact one of the most enjoyable headphones I've ever heard. And maybe the best price/performance ratio at this time.

Warmth, speed, detail, impactful, tight and extended bass, incredible musicality...

There is so much information here at Head-Fi. I’ve been trying to decide on my first pair, on a budget…
 
I had narrowed it down to HD518, Fischer FA-003, or modded T50RP.
 
The last two will end up costing more, because of shipping from Russia or buying an amp, so I am wondering if the cost is worth the difference.

Hey! I actually just bought my first pair, and they happened to be the HD518's! Just wondering though, if I'm going to be plugging them into my iPod most of the time, would you recommend I purchase the FiiO E11 amp? They should be here on Monday, I'm so excited!!
