When I look at the specs on the website, it seems the HD 449 have better sound quality, but the HD 439 model is more comfortable with the cloth pads instead of the leatherette ones. I need this pair of headphones for casual, recreational use. Which headphone do you think would serve me best? I feel as if the HD 449's have better sound, but less comfortability and the HD 439 have more comfortability and poor sound. Can someone tell me if my assumptions are right or wrong? (Do the HD 439 have amazing sound? Are the HD 449's comfortable?)

The sennheiser hd 439 does not has poor sound quality when compared to the HD 449, these are both high quality cans in respect to sound, the sennheiser HD 449 has pleather pad and are very comfortable but the HD 439 cloth pad which breathes better and are a bit more comfortable meaning the HD 439 will keep your ears cooler than the HD 449. but the pleather pad come with a perk ...... they give better sound isolation. also the HD 439 has more bass.
