Does anyone know of a Sennheiser or Grado retailer in NJ or the Philadelphia area? I'd like to demo a few pairs, but I don't know of anywhere where I can.
Proved that despite its huge size the CD3000 can be shoved down one's throat.

Harvey electronics carry both lines IIRC, in Paramus, if not they can order them for you....that was the place I got to listen them the first time (Senns) But they will rip you off with the retail price be prepared, if all you want is to listen them, it is a good place, otherwise.....
Community Audio in Chestnut Hill is a Grado and Stax retailer. These guys are really nice, but they may or may not have headphones to demo. http://www.commaudio.com/
8th street music is a Sennheiser retailer but I don't know if they have them in store to try out (10th and Arch) http://www.8thstreet.com
Tweeter also may be able to demo Sennheiser. There are a few other scattered high-end shops in the area but none that are good to try out headphones.
That's probably the best place. They USUALLY have a RS-2 or 1 and a Senn 600 or 650 there to demo in their small office. When I was there (about 2 years ago), they had a MF X-CAN V3 and EarMax PRO to use with a Rotel CDP I think as their demo station. I actually was going to buy my RS-1 from them but the guy never called me back - stupid.
Give them a call and find out what they have in stock to demo.
